P&C Association

GHPS has a strong and supportive Parents and Citizens association.

P&C

Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association

The P&C provides a wonderful opportunity for parents, teachers and community members to actively support student learning and enhance the school environment. Meetings are typically held twice per term, with sub-committees and an executive committee meeting more frequently to ensure initiatives continue to progress.

A nominal annual membership fee of $1.00 entitles members to receive meeting minutes and participate in voting.

Funds raised by the P&C make a meaningful contribution to school programs, resources and facilities. The association supports a broad range of initiatives, with sub-committees formed as needed to respond to priorities. Parent involvement is always encouraged, helping to share responsibilities and strengthen our school community.

Buildings & Grounds: Contributes ideas and support for the improvement and maintenance of school buildings, outdoor spaces and play areas.

Events: Plans and coordinates social and fundraising events that bring families together and foster a strong sense of community.

Sport: Supports school sporting programs through coaching assistance, encouraging student participation and helping provide equipment.
